Batman Begins

Hi It might be too soon to ask this question, but does anybody out there know what the original cue titles are for this score (if they indeed exist!). It is certainly a clever idea to name each track after the latin names for various bats but it would be more helpful to know what scenes match the tracks. Why do producers do this?

Personally I kinda like it. In fact I'd love to see more track titles this innovative. Batman Begins is the first score album in LONG time that doesn't spoil the whole film's plot with it's tracklisting. When I finally see the flick it'll still be somewhat surprising :)

Well, I've been trying to figure this one out for a long time too, so I finally spend a whole night maticulously listening to the CD and DVD back and forth and here's what I've come up with for linking the music to the movie (using chapter names from the DVD):

1. Vespertilio (You're Practice)
2. Eptesicus (This House/The Will To Act)
3. Myotis (Gotham Must Be Destroyed/Monastery Mayhem)
4. Barbastella (Nest Of Bats)
5. Artibeus (Secrets Of Scary People)
6. Tadarida (Lighten Up)
7. Macrotus (What Do You Fear?/Tragedy)
8. Antrozous (What Defines Me/Catching A Train)
9. Nycteris (Applied Sciences)
10. Molossus (Tumbler On The Roof)
11. Corynorhinus (This Is Your Mask/Calling Card)
12. Lasiurus (Rattle the Cages)

I'm not saying this is the difinitive list, but it's the closest I've come to figuring it out. I've enjoyed the music a lot more knowing what part of the movie it comes from, but like I said, it's not a perfect list, so if anyone has any modifications to make to it, please feel free to make them.
