Soundtrack stores in London?

I'm going to London this summer, do you know good places to get soundtracks?

Hi,

There used to be an EXCELLENT shop called "58 Dean Street Records" that was located, well, on 58 Dean Street. For as much as I remember, they changed their name to "Rare Discs" and relocated. They seem to be at:

18 Bloomsbury Street
WC1B 3QA
Phone (from within London) 020 7580 3516

The tube station seems to be "Tottenham Court Road".

If they're still what they used to be (last time I was there was about 13 years ago), you're in for a real treat! Tons of soundtracks and musicals on CD and vinyl...

Good luck!

Check out The Cinema Store 2. It's a little way off Charing Cross Road, but with multimap style websites you should be able to locate it. They don't have a massive collection but they do hold some rarities. Theyu can be a bit pricy at times, but comparable with dealers on ebay.

The address;
The Cinema Store (London)
4b Orion House,
Upper Saint Martins Lane
London WC2H 9EJ

Cinema Store 2 is right next door.

Enjoy your trip to London!

Try Stage & Screen in Notting Hill for Bargains. Dress Circle in Seven Dials (near Leicester Sq) used to stock a lot of soundtracks but they deal a lot in theatre music. 58 Dean St is indeed Rare Discs and are probably your best bet. The big music stores HMV and Virgin in Oxford St have an extensive stock as do Tower at Piccadilly Circus. You could have a nice sightseeing tour of London by visiting all of above!
