There's a store in Shibuya district called SUMIYA. This is the biggest store specialized only in soundtracks. Tower Records, HMV et al, are everywhere else in the world as well so I wouldn't recommend them unless you're looking after japanese movies or tv scores cds. But if you want it, we also have big second hand stores too. Soundtrack specialty second hand branches of DISC UNION in Shinjuku district and RECOFAN in Shibuya are the best.

I went on holiday last year, and I stayed in the Shinjuku district, there are some streets near the metro station, there is a good store on the first floor accesible with a little staircase. They had nice soundtracks. The only thing is, I dunno the street name :)
