Is Fright Night soundtrack available currently?
I know that the CD version(from Japan) has only 150 or so copies pressed, so I don't have my hopes up there... but I was wondering if it's still available on cassette, possibly? Plus, I'm interested in Fright Night 2 either on CD or cassette.Thanks.

Fright Night 2 was never released on any soundtracks so far. Fright Night 1 was released on vinyl LP, never heard of it on CD, could be a bootleg, why not email me at dennis_gar@yahoo.com? I might know some place who has it..

For the love of God, Fright Night DID have an official CD release in Japan and Germany but only the 10 song lyrical version. No score at all. Anything that has the score on it is a bootleg. Period.

Fright Night 1 soundtrack and score was released on limited edition 1 cd containing 28 tracks. It is currently on ebay both in the US & UK. Fright Night 2 never had a soundtrack released, unfortunately....

I have the Fright Night 1 Soundtrack on Vinyl (took me years to find). Unfortunately 'Brad Fiedel - Come To Me' has a vocal. Wish I had the instrumental, but I'm not sure about springing for the limited edition CD, but here's my question:
Fright Night 2 had a fantastic song credited as 'Van Dyke Parks & Tom Hayen - Dressed in Red - Performed by Leslie Lewis'. I really want this song, and the other one in the vampire ball scene. I've looked everywhere for it :(
The good news is, it lead me to discover Van Dyke Parks. Wow.

I have the cassette tape. I think I have 2. One I bought in the 80s and that got a little worn, then I repurchased another in the early 90s. I want another new copy but I can't find them in stores. The cassette has copyright 1985 CBS inc on it and a circle with a P 1985 CBS Inc. It also says Private I and small print that I can't see. It has PZT 40087 on the side with FRIGHT NIGHT Original Motion Picture Soundtrack. It has that cool picture on the front with all the song names and band names below it. The inside lable has FRIGHT NIGHT in big bold letters with all the song names and Performed by/Produced by under it. I just found what that small print says... Private I Records (It's printed bigger on the inside) So is this cassette tape worth some money now?
