Yes American nightmare, Cannibal holocaust is terrible!
Beautiful, emotionally very strong, and at times very very depressive. Rarely a soundtrack has fit perfectly to a movie like this one. Orchestral+electronic combination is very effective.
I don't know lots of Ortolani's scores, but this one is really a masterpiece!
