It sure sounds like John Barry but I can't recall the score. I know it's not from SOMEWHERE IN TIME. I just played it a short while ago.

Thanks everybody for your answers... Hope someone can help us put identifying this song. I'll try and ask the radio station again (I did it twice already) but I don't expect them to answer.

That tune may very well be stock music, also known as "production library music". Keep badgering the radio station, only next time when you call about it, ask to speak to someone in the "production department" if they have one. Ask him what library music companies they have and if they created that commercial or if it came from somewhere else. If it came from somewhere else, ask what "production house" it came from. Then ask those people at the production house about the music bed.

With persistence you might get an answer and yes, it does sound like John Barry - but it also sound like Johnny Pearson, whgo wrote a lot for the library music companies KPM and Bruton in England.
