Scores in San Diego

I suppose it's too much to hope that there is a store specializing in film scores in San Diego, California. On the other hand, there must be some good used CD stores there. Does anyone know of any that have decent soundtrack sections?
Thanks,
Rg

There are no soundtrack "specialty" stores that I know of (I'm a native San Diegan), but Lou's Records in Encinitas gets some rare stuff sometimes (new and used). You can also try any one of the (several) Music Trader locations, but the selection there is usually pretty generic and predictable. Another good spot for used CDs is Off-The-Record in Hillcrest (and they carry lots of vinyl, too). The good thing about these (and all) used CD shops is...you never know what you might find!

Hey TheSaint.786,

Don't forget to AVOID SAN DIEGO!!!

No, really. I'm serious. Stay away. Please.

Avoiding San Diego is not an option for me (not that I would exercise it; I've always heard good things about the place) as I have to be there on business next month. Thanks to American Nightmare for the tips.

Hey Nightmare,

Don't worry your pretty little head!
Rest assured you wont see me in that neck of the woods (if there is any). Not even if you paid me, and I know there's two definite hopes of that, Bob and No.

I seem to recall some people mentioning a record store called Aneeba? (Spelling I know is wrong) But there are people that have gone to this store in California and I was told they had Promo copies of Tyler Bates-Dawn of the Dead CD 2004 there. I don't know worth a shot in the dark.

You must be referring to "Amoeba Music." More info here: http://www.amoebamusic.com/html/index.php
