My personal relation is strongest with the CD of Vladimir Cosma's VILLE A VENDRE.

Without a doubt, it's CANNIBAL HOLOCAUST by Riz Ortolani. It's beautifully melodic, heartbreakingly melancholy, frighteningly ominous, and at times, deliciously funky...just like me!

Jerry Goldsmith's score for Poltergeist.

My personal favourite is now and forever John Williams' "Jaws", the score that sucked me deep into the scores - and now I'm an addict.
Collector-wise it's either Polydor's Japanese "Temple of Doom", limited edition DOOM 3 vinyl (of 500 copies, signed) or one of my import CDs (original sound version of 8-bit Mario games).

I could definately make one after reading these answers, and that's the sound of a toilet flushing.
So sorry. But really, I'd have to say it's "Perversion Story" because it will pay my rent some day. (Just kidding, I hope!).

To the guy who seemingly adores PERVERSION STORY: You've got to be kidding! I love Gianni Ferrio as much as the next (really cool) guy, but PERVERSION STORY is not, by any stretch of the imagination, his best score. Can you perhaps elaborate on precisely why you hold it in such high regard? I am honestly curious. As for my all-time favorite soundtrack; just one title? Impossible! Can't be done! What I can do is provide a short list of titles which will feature my single most favorite score (you shall have to guess which one it is - if I'm insane winners will get a CD of their choice from out of my collection): THE LION IN WINTER, BOOM, THUNDERBALL, THE IPCRESS FILE, OBSSESSION (Herrmann), INTERRABANG, VIOLENT CITY, UN BIANCO VESTITO PER MARIALE, CAMILLE 2000, FEMINA RIDENS, BLADE RUNNER, IL SORRISO DEL GRANDE TENTATORE, METTI UNA SERA A CENA, VERGOGNA SCHIFOSI, MADDALENA, SVEGLIATI E UCCIDI, UN TENTATIVO SENTIMENTALE, 99 WOMEN, CHI SEI? (Micalizzi), DEATH RIDES A HORSE, THE DEADLY AFFAIR, THE PIT AND THE PENDULUM (Baxter). Please share your opinion of my choices, and don't hold back! I like it rough!

When I'm into funky soundtrax, two of my all time favorites are Johnny Pate's SHAFT IN
AFRICA or Solomon Burke's COOL BREEZE. From the crime department I also adore
Bernstein's MCQ or Michel Gaucher's UN PRINTEMPS A PARIS, which is the score I have
listened to continually since I bought it about 9 months ago.
At other times I can't get enough of Michel Legrand's THE THREE MUSKETEERS or Schifrin's
score for the follow-up.
There are many more. It depends on temporary moods and predilections ...
