Question

I know Bernsteins' 1964 opus 'Kings of the Sun' has been recorded (by Amber records) but it seems to be lingering out there in limboland. Has anyone got any idea if or when it will be released

You may want to contact the Elmer Bernstein Society (elmerbernstein.com). Prior to his death he was considering a rerecording as the original tapes were destroyed. Was not aware Amber recorded that score. I also am interested in it's release.

I have been on to Elmer Bernsteins website it was from them that I found out that Kings of the Sun had been recorded but despite several more enquiries I can't find out anything more about it. Hence the question I asked in this forum
