it's a good score but in my opinion composers could write a more exciting music for Romero.....

Thanks! Might drop into town tomorow and pick up a copy! But, I don'y know what you mean by what you said. I thought the score to the film was the best thing about it! I have the dvd credits on repeat! Love it!

I'm listening to David Shire's Monkey Shines at the moment, and at the moment I think it's the best score a Romero film's received.

I just hope we'll see Donald Rubinstien's Knightriders on CD at some point.

But yeah, Land's music is a definite step down from the previous Dead scores. I do love "To Canada" though, which I assume is the end credits.

It comes out in theatres here next week. :D

ok i liked very very much LAND OF THE DEAD and i think the score is very very good too!I have great respect for HEIL and KLIMEK, but for example if you listen ONE OUR PHOTO you will find something more interesting in my opinion!And if i expected something more from them is because i am sure they have an unusual talent!!!and i will buy every scores with their sign!!

I may be on a similar quest. My wife was in the movie "Cannibal Campout" back in the 80's which inspired a horror punk group called The Vladimirs to write a song called "Cannibal Campout".
Cannibal Campout is being re-released on DVD and my wife was just in the studio shooting an interview and commentary to be added to the DVD when we learned of this song and heard it. They might put it a music video on the DVD to. I know I have heard ths song somewhere before. I am probrably mistaken but I think it was during the end credits of one of the last zombie movies we saw. I think it was Land of the Dead or the remake of Dawn of the Dead but I am not sure.
