You can't. It was never OFFICIALLY released. Only a bootleg. And we can't ask for those at this board.

Here we go again. Fright Night was released on CD in Japan. People have a bad habit of claiming that it never was but I used to own it before selling it. It comes up on eBay from time to time but it's drowned out with all these bootlegs that contain the score. Anyway, it was released on CD in Japan but it was only the soundtrack/lyrical music portion. No score was included on the official release. Any release that contains the score is a bootleg.

Hello to all fright night movie fans out there, my name is N Welsh and I worked for CBS here in LA.I wanted to clear up your questions and queries on the fright night soundtrack.Firstly,a fright night 2 soundtrack was NEVER released.Secondly,a limited edition US release of 500 fright night CD's were released to fan club members only during the 80's,as the fan club wasnt too popular I recall we were left with about 200 of the CD's which were then distributed around the memorabilia stores in LA.A fright night lp and cassette was released for sale in stores, but the CD never was.We released 250 CD's in Japan for the Eastern market, this CD included the tracks only, not the score,and was also for fan club members only. The US release of 500 contained the tracks and the score.I kept a few of the items that I worked on,and still to this day have a fright night CD.The bootlegs that are around make me laugh,as something I worked hard on is now being sold as a bootleg.The original CD released for fan club members is 28 tracks long and came with case,inlay sleeve and rear sleeve.The CD itself which I am looking at now has artwork with the track listings,plus the important words 'A LIMITED ARCHIVAL RELEASE OF 500 DISCS'.Any bootleg CD out there, however good it is, fails to realise those important words make the difference between the genuines and bootlegs.During my time at CBS I also picked up a signed fright night movie poster from the cast,plus a press pack that contains information on the movie shoot,the cast,plus some great 8x10" stills of the stars shooting the movie,this was sent over from Columbia for our help.Anybody who is interested in seeing my memorabilia should respond to me and I'll send you pictures.I'm glad to see there are still people out there interested.

there was a release but to fright night club members only also i did obtain a poster signed by 6 members of the movie, charlie,amy,evil ed,billy cole, jerry dandridge and peter vincent. would be interested in selling it on. it has been in a tube for years so has no marks or tears. quality is remarkable....... any takers here's my email. the names are there real names not stage names apart from evil ed adds both names.

I know its been a long time since the most recent post. However, I am really trying to find out if the "a limited archival release of 500 discs" that my wife has is real... it has a black area where the disk reads (where its normally silver) and red and black where the text is... a couple pictures of your actual genuine disc would mean the world to me... my email is cabaker@student.king.edu
