Question

Soundtracks you WILL not part with

There is often quite a bit of trading between collectors here who trade original CD's but I was just wondering what is in everyones collection they would not trade at all, either because they are that rare or just that valuable (personally and in $$$$$)!

My most valuable to me personally are:
Blue Thunder
Red Dawn
2 disc Commemorative Edition Gettysburg
Varese 2 disc The Great Escape (limited 3000 copies)
Varese 2 disc The Fury (limitied 3000 copies)
Varese Conan The Barbarian (16 track)

I know most of these aren't that rare but they're the most hard to find ones I have. I would not think about trading these but selling? Who knows? Give me a try.

Well, I sold off over 200 CDs some years ago and had to re-buy several later on when I wanted them again. All in all, I'll never sell any of my CDs ever again, regardless of how much or little space I have left... :)

I would not be able to live without (well maybe I'm exaggerating a bit here) the following titles on CD:

A Better Tomorrow I/II (Triarrow)
A Better Tomorrow the 2nd Edition (Triarrow)
(so stop emailing me asking me to sell them)
The H-Man (Bijo to Ekitaningen) (SLC)
Zatoichi - A Musical Journey Vols. 1-3 (King)
Goyokiba/Kozure Ookami (King)
Daimajin (both the single CD and 3 disc set)
Kaiki Daisakusen (TV) Music File (VAP)
War of the Gargantuas (Futureland)
100 Ghost Stories/Tokaido Road Monsters dbl. CD (Appollon)

On LP the following are indispensible for me:
Prom Night (Japanese)
The Apple
Beyond the Valley of the Dolls
The Shining
Night of the Living Dead
Dawn of the Dead (Varese)
Willie Dynamite
The Mack (orig. die-cut version)

There's a lot more, but these are my favorites.

I want to keep most of my records for ever as well but of course if somebody would offer really a LOT then I would give some. But I would NEVER part with

Vladimir Cosma's VILLE A VENDRE

and with

Carlo Rustichelli's KAPO / ROSOLINO PATERNO, SOLDATO

There are over 100 lps that would freak me out if something happened, such as a fire or earthquake, because of how rare they are. CD's, no matter that it says "Limited Edition of 500", I can still pick one of those up at my local record store because it is so huge! (I purchased an extra Vamyros Lesbos Lucertola Media disc for 12 dollars.). Limited to 3000 is not very limited is it?! Here's a few of my examples:
CODICE D'AMORE ORIENTALE- Alberto Baldan Bembo 1974.
PERVERSION STORY- Gianni Ferrio 1969.
THEY'RE COMING TO GET YOU (Tutti Colori Il Buio)- Bruno
Nicoli 1970.
SIGN OF AQUARIUS (Love Commune)- Various 1969.
UN BEAU MONSTRE- Georges Garvarentz 1970.
TEENAGE REBELLION- Mike Curb 1967.
NAKED ANGELS- Various 1970.
LANCELOT LINK & THE EVOLUTION REVOLUTION- 1970.
THE BUGALOOS- Charles Fox !970
HOT WHEELS-Michael Llyod & Mike Curb 1970
MARQUIS DE SADES' PHILOSOPY OF THE BOUDOIR- Bruno
Nicolai 1970
