Ebay's Re-animator seller! help on this one!

The Ebay seller Re-animator has been selling his soundtrcak collection for years as he wants to get rid of them, shame he has about 400 copies of Cujo, Vamp, The Blob and what not! What ever I used to bid on one of his CD's he would end the auction a few mins before it actually ended and ask me to pay but not through ebay. Now is this seller selling copies as I'm pretty sure Vamp isn't on CD unless you count the time that johnathan Elias put in on CD for fans at a horror conventopn? But he claims they are all original! Has anyone else ever has trouble with this guy???

Make no mistake, he's selling pirated CD-R copies. His eBay name is actually 're-animate' and his real name is David Fenninger. Like you said, he's been doing this for years: ending the auctions at the last minute and then trying to sell the items "under the table" to avoid eBay fees and to avoid negative feedback because he's selling pirated merchandise. Many of the CD-Rs that he sells have never been released on CD, so it's obvious that he's selling CD-Rs, yet people who are ignorant of this fact still bid on his auctions!

He keeps his feedback record private because there have been so many complaints in the past (that's why he ends the auctions early now and tries to sell them privately after the auction ends). Here is his profile, so you can be sure to stay away from his auctions: http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQfgtpZ1QQfrppZ25QQsassZreQ2danimate

Curiously enough, when I was selling part of my OST collection on eBay several months ago, he purchased about 10 CDs from me using what I assume was his wife's eBay account (or sister, mom, etc.). I mailed the CDs to a certain "Lara Fenninger" but I noticed that the e-mail address that was attached to the account contained the phrase 're-animate,' so I'm sure that it was actually David behind the scenes. He did, however, pay for the items promptly and post positive feedback for me on eBay. Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if he's now selling pirated copies of those CDs on eBay...

I bought "Fletch" by Harold Faltermeyer from him. I was not sure if it existed on cd but he assured me it was an original cd. However when the cd arrived it was not an original cd. I don't remember if I bought it outside Ebay or not.

The guy is a joke and he has been doing this for years. Its funny he must watch who wins the big priced osts then e-mails you to burn him a copy. I wasn't aware he was selling burned cds I thought he just listed to get peoples attention on his legit cds. Anyway stay away...

Today i questioned David about his honesty, why his feedback on ebay was hidden. He tells me that he makes 2 to 3 times as much monsy as i do, and that he doesn't have to explane anything to my ignorant a**. Stay away from this cheat.
