---VARESE'S "A 25th Anniversary Celebration VOLUME II"---

Hi forum!.... Does anyone know where I could find a new/sealed copy of this 4 cd compilation? Unfortunately Varese does not sell them anymore. Damn, WHY? Is this 4 cd compilation as good as Volume I and worth purchasing? How much would it go for? For the ones who bought the compilation directly from Varese, was it sold sealed? Any input would be appreciated.

Hello,
Volume II is less concerned with the success of the films, more on the quality of the music. That's why I like volume II a bit more. It was sold sealed by Varese as a special Club title, available for a few months only in their 25th anniversary year. It originally had/has(?) a glitch in track one on cd one (King's Row), that disc was replaced by Varese after I mailed them about it. I don't know if there are more "wrong" cd's floating around. Last month it was sold on eBay for a little more than $50,-. I hope that this helps

I much prefer Volume II to Volume I. A lot of rare tracks from CDs that are expensive to purchase separately. A lot more easy listening and beautiful stand alone music tracks. Well worth paying up to $100.
