I'm sure whatever song you might be thinking of was not originally recorded for that movie. "Brown-Eyed Girl" was recorded way back in 1967 on one of Van Morrison's albums (it's also used in the "Sleeping with the Enemy" soundtrack). He had some other hit singles like "Moondance" so you might want to check out his "best of" album if you're looking for a specific song.
