"Inedit" - the meaning of ...
I see this term used, time and again, usually on expanded re-releases of classic scores ... "includes 7 inedits totalling 16 mins ..." etc.
Just what does "inedit" mean?
Sorry to sound thick - I've been collecting movie scores for only 35 years, approx. so I'm still a little naive!

Hi Mitch,
In French "inédit" stands for "unreleased" - I believe it stands for "(previously) unreleased track" in English as well.

Many thanks - obvious when I think of it.
I had wondered if it specifically meant clips taken from the score which include background sound effects (such as the expanded issue of "For A Few Dollars More").
