Dambusters Theme [original 78RPM Version]
Can anyone please advise whether this version is available - it had a dialogue between
pilot and base in the middle of the track whereas all other versions do not. I used to have
it on a 78
Thanks!

HI, I have just across the Soundtrack Collector website and have seen your question re. the Dambusters Theme. The recording you are looking for is by Billy Cotton & his Band. It was originally released on U.K. Decca Record label (F.10630) in 1955.
It was released on CD in 2000 by the Spectrum label entitled "THE BEST OF BILLY COTTON (544 298-2). If you haven't got the tune yet, I can rip it from a CD and email it on if you wish free of charge.
