It's from the score of COCOON by James Horner

and I think it's from the track 3 entitled ''The Chase''

The song is called "American Hymn (I Am Home)", wonderful piece. In fact heres a link to ALL
the music used in his past performances:

Its from a group called the Ten Tenors. The album is called "Larger Than Life" and the song is track #10. I was looking for it too and I was lucky to find it. Seen Copperfield 3 times and love the music

The actual answer is the music from East of Eden, by Lee Holdridge. You want the "Main Title" (From East of Eden), and the "Finale" (From East of Eden). It's on itunes. The "Main Title" is a shorter version and the "Finale" is the longer version. Yes, there is a small snippet of this in "An American Hymn", but that is not the version used for his flying.
Make sure it's Lee Holdridge, because there are a few "East of Eden"; soundtracks.
