I am trying to find the title for the movie that had a you white english boy(or south african boy)who conducted a slave choir and the african slaves were singing bad about the guards.

Sounds like "The Power Of One" - directed by John G Avildsen, music by Hans Zimmer. Starring Stephen Dorff and Morgan Freeman though its Dorff's character as a young boy that conducts the choir. He goes on to be a boxer. Sound Familiar?
