David & Bathsheba - Intrada

I consider Intrada's answer incredibly aggressive and unjustifiably rude. They accuse me of comparing their CD unfavourably with the Soundstage CD, which is ludicrous. I said no such thing and no rational person could. The fact is (and its a purely academic one) that there are anomalies between their (ie Fox's) cue titles and the use of the cues in the film and I wondered if anyone could explain it. Intrada's arrogant and offensive response doesn't really address that issue.

Not speaking for Intrada...

To say what you said about them, and I quote: "This mistitling strikes me as unusually lazy" is a pretty harsh statement when comparing a LEGIT release to a BOOTLEG!

You also made several references to the BOOTLEG - which no one would argue - does not have access to the 20th Century vault - as if IT were the one to compare the Intrada cue titles to. I personally found your comments "arrogant" and that was why I took the time to get an answer from Intrada. :)

I thought they explained everything just as it was.

Poor David eaten up by Goliath! The man simply asked a question. "The mistitling strikes me as unusually lazy" bit should not be taken literally... please! We all know what a wonderful job Intrada does in preserving (well said!) film music. Without this label our film music collections would have been so much... poorer! Chill out dudes!
