The Badge Soundtrack
Anyone knows where I can find the soundtrack of the 2002 movie The Badge, with Billy Bob Thornton and Patricia Arquette, or maybe the track list played in the movie?
On the movie credits I remember it said a soundtrack was released.
Cheers

Did you ever get an answer to this question? I am also trying to find the soundtrack or at least a song list. Shassa

Hi, I was looking too and I see more than a few are searching for The Badge soundtrack. I found this blurb in Message Boards on IMDb website, a movie database, as follows:
"The soundtrack was concieved but never released. Most of the blues artists are Fat Possum Records artists -- Asie Payton, TJ Ford, Burnside and others. With the exception of Otis Taylor, a colorado bluesman who came into the studio and did some work with David Beargaud. Otis is the voice behind the driving blues of billy bob driving to New Orleans half way into the movie. " Visit that site for some other info on the soundtrack.
Please note another spelling of Bergaux. I can also say that I liked the woman singing in the background and the only one I know of that sings anything like that is Lisa Gerrard of Dead Can Dance. She has been doing soundtrack backgrounds lately, too. Good luck.

Thanks Sylvan. The Movie certainly had a lot of great songs but I don't have the fortitude to put togther a recorded compilation myself. Oh well. This happens. I loved the sound track from Ghost World too and have never been able to pin that one down eithe, wl\although I haven't looked in ages. Sharon

Well, it's not available at Fatpossum either. Dagnab it, this is one I'd like to have. Saw a video with Junior Kimbrough, Asie Payton and R.L. Burnside, put out by Fatpossum: "Last of the Hill Country Bluesmen" Glorious. Those were only voices to me. Now I know their faces, and some of their life stories. If you love Blues, you should buy it.
