John Addison's Thirteen At Dinner and Dead Man's Folly don't have much 80's sound in them but I'd love to have these on CD.

The score I would really like to see get an official cd release is Friedkin's "Cruising" starring Al Pacino. Only the songs were released on LP but the haunting musical score will be a great treat if it finally after 25 long years got an official release on cd including the fantastic punk/rock songs as well as the classical music piece by an Italian composer whose name escapes my memory at the moment. I would also like to see the complete director's uncut film version on DVD!

Personally, I'd love to own Faltermeyer's score to Tango and Cash, and although it ain't technically 80's (actually released in 1990...) I also want Jan Hammer's score to Dark Angel - which was also called I come in Peace in the states.......

There is a rare, out of print, CD in existance called "Best of Adventure"; it's an official
release, a 2 CD compilation from Germany and it has the nostaligic GOONIES film score
on it. A whole 18:49 minutes worth of ear candy! This CD was released in the mid '90s,
and according to the CD booklet, the film score on this particular CD was a world premier
of the film score recording. They say 'WORLD premier', which is correct, but I believe the
film score was realeased on CD in limited number back in the mid '80s, but only in the
good old USA. On the "Best of Adventure" CD, the Dave Grusin score was performed by
the City of Prague Philharmonic.. To say the recording is amazing would be an
understatement because listening to it brings scenes from the movie to mind in vivid
detail. Can you tell this is my favorite movie? =) *april

well I happen to own clash of the titans and bill contis version of the big blue which is fabulous! I know how to get the goonies and peewees big adventure. If anyone can tell me how to get the soundtrack to "greystoke legend of tarzan" that would be fantastic. I also have both versions of legend (tom cruise) does anyone know how I can get my hands on Henry Mancini's "MOMMY DEAREST"? I also have sixteen candles.
