Recordings of Delerue's CARTOUCHE score

The sound quality of the Prometheus CD of Delerue's CARTOUCHE score seems
somewhat less than great. I've noticed that a few tracks of this score also appear on a
few Delerue compilation CDs. Would anyone happen to know if the sound quality of these
tracks on the compilation CDs is any better than on the Prometheus release, or are they
all from the same source and therefore pretty much identical?

I've been told the Prometheus sound bad but because I don't have it, I unfortunately can't compare. But I can say at least the tracks on Universal cd's are all in mono, if that helps.

Thanks for the reply; I'm guessing they're probably all about the same.

By the way,

Lerouge, who is responsible for the Universal France-Editions, has said that some scores of Michel Legrand and Georges Delerue from the Legrand box set and the De-Broca-compilations will be released in complete form in the future.

The original tapes had suffered over the years, according to the producer of the complete CARTOUCHE, which I have. In my opinion the Universal compilation discs have marginally better sound on the tracks they released -- somewhat better treble, I would say.
