The Party (1968) Henry Mancini - difference between RCA Spain '98 and RCA France '03 releases?
Are there any differences (except the bonus track) between RCA Spain 1998 release of "The Party" by Henry Mancini and the re-release by RCA France in 2003 (concerning booklet notes, sound quality, etc...)
Thanks.

I never held a copy of any of these two releases in my hands, but I can tell that all the RCA Spain titles did come in standard jewel case with 4 page booklet containing "only" the track listing and original liner notes from the LP (plus a list of other RCA releases). The French '03 RCA series are all released in digipacks and have more informative booklets.

Thanks for the info. I already own the RCA Spain edition, but since this is one of my favorite scores it looks like I will have to buy the RCA France re-issue.

There is an additional vocal recording of 'Nothing To Lose' by Claudine Longet but it's not the version you hear in the movie because it's not coducted by Mancini. However, it is a nice recording. I would like to see an expanded edition of this and all of Mancini soundtracks.
Also, two songs heard in the movie are actually from other Mancini/Edwards collaborations.
