Is there a release for the musical score for the movie? If not is there any plans on releasing one?

There is an oscar promo cd for the score and one for the song, now on Ebay.

Other than that there is one score track ("The Promise") on the official Heffalump Soundtrack cd strangely titled "The Best Of Pooh And Heffalumps Too".
It also features all the Carly Simon songs as well as older Pooh songs from previous films.
