Postscript to "What's your Favourite Soundtrack?".

I would like to thank everyone who has replied to my original post.

While the responses were wide and varied some came as no real surprise with John Williams rating highly as well as seeing the names of other major composers as well.

It was also hard for all of us, I feel, to actually pin down one track as our all time favourite film score track that stands out above all else. I for one would have liked to put down more but I restricted my answer to just the one. Oh well.

One track that also rated highly was the Main Title to Superman The Movie. I think this is more so with the inclusion of the Prelude at the beginning. Ah.... I can here the music now, the curtains opening and the projector starting "In the decades of the 1930's even the great city of Metropolis....then drum roll and in roll the credits to the overture of the Man of Steel.
