Favorite single track
Is there on single track from your collection of soundtracks that you would call a favorite? For instance, I very much like "Fratelli Chase" from "The Goonies" or the finale from "Bowfinger" (obvious choices). But also "Building the Barn" (Witness), the overture to "Much ado about nothing" and some others. What are your single track faves?

Question : Impossible...
But always fun! So I'll play the game.
Without thinking too much, I would say Goldsmith's "Nightmare At 20,000 Feet" from "Twilight Zone : The Movie."

Spontaneously:
"The Family Arrives"
(track #17 from Jerry Goldsmith's RUSSIA HOUSE)

"Camille's Theme" from Le Mépris. Hauntingly beautiful, dramatically touching, it always makes
me shiver.

1. Overture from Grand Prix (Maurice Jarre)
2. Main Title from Krull (James Horner)
3. Main Title, The Harpies, The Nets/The Rope/ The Cage from Jason and the Argonauts (Bernard Herrmann)
4. Desert Chase from Raiders Of The Lost Ark (John Williams)
5. The Hunt & The Second Coming from The Final Conflict:Omen III (Jerry Goldsmith)
6. Any single track from a John Barry scored film since Out of Africa - Take your pick.
Just a brilliant (in my opinion) and diverse array of tracks from six different composers. Of, course there are lots more but the list may extend some if the thread continues. I dont want to seem to be dominating it!

"The Asteroid Field" from "The Empire Strikes Back." Hands down.

"Backseat Driver" - David Arnold - Tommorrow Never Dies - Great for driving your own car fast to!! (Responsibly, of course)
"Desert Chase" - John Williams - Raiders Of The Lost Ark
"Lets Go Guys" - Bill Conti - Escape To Victory
"On Earth As It Is In Heaven" - The Mission - Ennio Morricone
"The Buffalo Hunt" - John Barry - Dances With Wolves

Gotta be "The Map Room: Dawn" from Raiders of the Lost Ark. Sends shivers down my spine.....

Hmmm, lots of John Williams. I would go for 'The Kelp Forest' (Fenton) from Deep Blue. Or
'Theme de Juliette' (Bruno Nicolai) from Defense de Savoir, or, 'Sorrow' by Herrmann from The
Ghost and Mrs Muir. Perhaps the best track I never get tired of is 'Under Stars' from Apollo by
Brian Eno/Daniel Lanois.
