No, seriously, though, I love that score. It's one of my faves by Morricone. Sinister beats with a wicked groove. Someone should snatch that up!

I quite agree with you coma.
I was really disappointed when I heared this score few years ago for the first time.
I never understand the hype why some guys paid so much money for such a poor Morricone score.
I remember an auction when somebody bought the japanese RCA version BVCP-1039 for over 100$ at ebay; about 6 month ago.

IMHO Morricone had a transition period after Two Mules For Sister Sara which was the completition of his first section of memorables western scores.
4 Mosche Di Velluto Grigio was ok and the next was a few years later The Genius (a really great score - waiting for an expanded release)!
Everything within this period was really boring to me!

Especially Citta Violenta!

This is a brilliant score by Morricone, one of his best from what was his golden period. Keep listening to it as it is one of those that will grow on you, and not like a wart on your nose!
The striking thing about this score is the 'minimilist' feel Morricone gets from the orchestra, the sense of urban fear. Of cause there are some funky tracks as well. But it is the sinister feel to the score that is most striking.
Thought I would even this thread up as more people are saying it is a boring score than not.

I AGREE 100 PER CENT WITH DAVID, I AM DISAPPOINTED HOW OTHERS PERSONS FELLS DIFFERENT ABOUT, BUT YOU KNOW, THE WORLD IS BEAUTIFULL BECAUSE IS DIFFERENT.
