i replied both have been out of print for years and another gem of a reply came back!

We receieved a return from one of our European distribution partners and to our own surprise we found 11 CDs.
So we decided not to sell them in our own shop.

I don't think it's a scam but I thought these were OOP some time now. I have not heard of any rereleases for Jaws 2, CHINATOWN!, even Dark Star... Hmm... A sealed Jaws 2 is (was?) rare. Anyway, I purchased a sealed copy not more than two years ago at a very good price also... but Chinatown available? I hate this! I paid a damn hefty price for this one! :- ( Perhaps Colosseum which is the subsidiary of Varese in Europe has rereleased more of these or perhaps they discovered a lost supply.

soundtraxxclub... They are speaking as if they are the producers and as if they have reissued these titles themselves. I checked the Colosseum website and no trace of these 3 titles being available or re-issued. Strange! This seller's feedback is almost flawless if you count the neutral feedback. They have no negative feedback at all! I doubt they would want to jeopardise their business by selling counterfeits.

As for the powersellers it is sad but true coma. Even though this seller's flawless positive feedback is 300 something they have been auctioning for only 8 months. I checked out a lot of the cd's they have auctioned in the past and it seems that these three, especially Jaws & Chinatown, perhaps are to be the first titles of potential counterfeits. I do want Dark Star though. I guess we have to wait and see what happens. If indeed this seller begins to sell sporadic counterfeits I don't know what else to say. I am really becoming distrustful of eBay auctions. Perhaps that's good!

Colosseum Records is closed during the weekends. The eBay seller claims to be Colosseum on eBay. I never knew Colosseum was selling on eBay. In their response the seller claims to have received a return from one of their European distributors with several copies of these three titles and to reach all soundtrack fans as fast as possible they decided to use eBay's marketplace to sell them. Something similar happened a few months back with ''Flight Of The Navigator''. These titles were quite pricy to find in any condition. So much for OOP cd's. I still don't understand though why the seller states the term REISSUES in his description for Jaws 2 and Chinatown. No reissues as far as I know were ever released for these two.
