I noticed that (at least some of) the seller's auction photos were actually "borrowed" from this very web site (compare the photos in the two links below). Not that I blame him, though...I wouldn't want to take the time to scan or photograph all of those CDs either. Coincidentally, that original cover scan of "Schock" was contributed by none other than yours truly. ;-)

Damn, he's sure got some good stuff in that lot. Some of those auctions are only 3 days long, too. I hope that it's all legit, for your guys' sake. Good luck, amigos!

i recommended not have the bids, because listing 3 days, see your feedback and not sell ever cd's only dvd, casuality the most difficults cd's and higher prizes listing all and only 8,88 and not reserved price, rare, rare, rare.
jfortesss, February 28, 2006; 3:43 PM

who knows ? maybe they are fake but if you pay via paypal remenber that you can always get a refund (up to 500$)
It recalls me a seller from Arizona last year who had the same feedback. He had 100% positive feedback but only sold some common stuff not soundtracks (even more rare ones) and then he had listed more than 60 rares cds (maybe the rarest) and of course all were fake.
could be the same guy.
we shall see ...
tomzecat-bis, February 28, 2006; 4:48 PM

I don't know about this guy, could be allright but my feeling tells me somethings wrong!
His feedback refers almost only to auctions with dvd's in it, and he is offering a hell of a list of collectables right there, please be very carefull with this guy!!
Could be ok but still....
I won't bet my money on him.

Funny, I sent him a message last night and he responded. Maybe he doesn't recognise my name as someone who has asked a question or dealt with him before. His response was that he bought the CDs from a reputable businessman and to trust him on only his previous feedback, namely for the DVDs. But I'm thinking, which businessman would sell valuable CDs for peanuts and secondly why are the rare titles, ie. Blood In Blood Out for starting price at 8.88 yet some of the lesser valuable ones are buy now for 75.00.
I ask myself and have, after careful thought, refused to bid. Something just doesn't smell right. When an old sage once told me (there's not many of them about) if it's too good to be true, it usually is.
TheSaint.786, February 28, 2006; 6:07 PM

i tried vinnie but he`s laying low for a while! I will watch the auctions then await feedback to see if i was right not to bid..............

maybe coma but as i said before the seller told me he wont be able to answer questions till friday, after auctions are up. i hpe he is genuine but im not taking a gamble...............
anthonynputson, February 28, 2006; 9:26 PM

I received an email from someone pointing me to this forum about the items I have recently listed. First of all I am not a he I am a she. I did not get these cheap, but I did get a good deal. If they were to sell for the opening bid I would get killed. In the past, no matter what I sold, I have started the bid at .99 cents. The value will usually be made by auction end, it gets the ball rolling. I do usually deal with dvd's, but will sell anything that I can turn a profit on. The replace or refund on my ebay, was in reference to the dvd's. Obviously if there were a problem with these being delivered I would have to revert to the insurance. Most questions I can answer from this trip in the evenings when I am at the hotel. I timed these to end on friday so I can ship on saturday for paid items. Alice

thanks for taking the time to write and to clarify your situation. im sold.
anthonynputson, March 1, 2006; 11:44 AM

Well, the seller, usapoliticalitems, has just made their feedback on ebay private.
I'd be delighted to be wrong, but I wonder if this bodes well for those who just
bought those rare CDs from this seller.
stephenlister, March 11, 2006; 7:54 PM

And now the seller has 3 negative feebacks, all in the last couple of days. It's not
looking good for those people who bought CDs from this character.
stephenlister, March 12, 2006; 8:13 PM

Well another one too good to be true I tried to get the blood in blood out cd but I always wait to pay wen people have auctions like this...looks like I saved my butt again...what a waste
oxroast26, March 13, 2006; 5:21 PM

CHEAT! THIS PERSON IS A CHEAT! I won the bid for the ultra rare Power Of One soundtrack from Hans Zimmer. The total cost was $48. It's been 1 month and no cd or response to the numerous emails i sent. I filed a complaint with paypal, hopefully I'll get my money back. DO NOT BID ON THIS SELLER'S ITEMS.
