Question

Can anyone tell me about the tracks on Ennio Morricone's Colori CD? I was wondering if the CD is a straight compilation of his early '70's ST work or a collection of "different" or special recordings that the maestro made specifically for this LP/CD. I have most of the tunes from this CD in my collection from the OST's and was debating whether to purchase the Japanese SLC version.

Answers

It would appear that 9 of the 10 tracks on this CD are taken directly from the OSTs to which you refer.

Track 10 is a new recording, a vocal by Lisa Gastoni of Idiota (Chi mai).

It's just a compilation with an added track can't pin down.
Get it for the completist ( and the pretty cover) only.
Hope you don't spend much if you decide on it.
