Star Wars II: Attack of the Clones
I note that there is a listing for the complete score to Attack of the Clones, released through Arranged Records. Does anyone have any further details? All the other prequels scores appear to have been released by Sony Classical, so is this actually a bootleg? I can recall reading (possibly in this forum) that much of the music was rehashed from The Phantom Menace, and this was why there was no expanded version (like TPM's) for Attack of the Clones.
I have Googled this version, but the only reference relates to this website's listing.
Any info gratefully received!

Yep, that's a bootleg. According to the John Williams Fan Network site, there's at least an hour (that doesn't include the music tracked from Episode I) of Episode II's score that has not been officially released. Why Sony Classical has not yet released an Ultimate Edition of Episode II's score, I don't know.

Actually, from what I read several places online it wasn't due to sales, but all the whining and critisim they received from people that it wasn't what John Williams originally scored for the film score, but what was in the film after George Lucas butchered it! Their words, not mine... ;)
Either way, Sony has said they didn't like the response to the TPM UE set and are not interested in releasing any more expanded releases as a result. I don't know if that's the official word or BS, but it's the rumor going by what everyone has said about the last UE set. I don't know, but they are like Lucas in regard to milking everyone out of money every few years. Sheesh, if a Star Wars TV series can happen, after we were told Episode III was the last of Star Wars, well, I assume we'll see something in regards to a complete score eventually. Whether it's from Sony or someone else is another question. :D

Don't mean to bump this old subject up not sure if you will respond to it or not. But johnhjohnson you say you have the 2-CD set for AOTC. Is that something a fan put together, or is it something directly from the studios?

Ah okay johnjohnson if you can drop me an e-mail at BigTrekster1981@hotmail.com regarding this I'd appreciate, thanks in advance.
