Well i noticed he has made his feedback private!!! having just recieved 2 negatives! one i saw was not score cd related, but the 2nd?....i still had a number of his items in my watched list so will check the buyers feedback once left. interesting though!

Hi email,

I am thick - I can't trace the original thread to which you refer. Having bid and been outbid on several items offered by this eBay seller I would like to know what's what.

I have bought many times from Catfellah and never been disappopinted so if he has something interesting to say ... I'm listening.

Many thanks.

this is the original thread, the cat just posted the same thing pretty much as ive just said, i just didnt see it but basically the seller has made her id private after 2 negatives. and am wondering if its the score cd related.

just out of curiosity really coma, i was bidding a number of them once i read the reply the seller posted on here.

anthonynputson, March 12, 2006; 3:49 PM

there were a few positives, but for the lesser scores, non of the big boys. If i ever get a negative i think id leave it so everyone can see, take it on the chin if you like. though i never sell anything so the chances are slim as long as i pay up !!!

anthonynputson, March 12, 2006; 4:04 PM

must do better next time !!!

anthonynputson, March 12, 2006; 4:22 PM

Now she has 3 negs. They are all to do with non-delivery of DVDs from February
(I am snowed in today and had nothing better to do with my time so I checked
her earlier item history on ebay).

It's suspicious when someone lists tons of mainly rare CDs, takes all the images
from this site, and is also conveniently "away from home" so they can't answer
any valid questions until the bidding is over. This happened with someone who
scammed me a couple of years back - same m.o. and same "away from home"
excuse. That 'seller' stung a lot of people here. This current seller - the so-called
'Alice' - is shaping up to be as big a sting artist as the other one, and my heart
goes out to the buyers who paid big bucks for what could turn out to be non-
existant CDs.

I would love to be wrong. It would be nice to read here in the coming days of
satisfied customers who have just received their rarities. I hope that happens.
But it's not looking very likely at the moment.

I could be one of those suckers!!! I remember that I was not convinced of this seller and posted a comment on this very website. However, she responded and along with popular comment on this site, I went along and bidded for and won Lock Up by Bill Conti. I have paid for it about a week ago but have yet to receive anything. Should I receive a kick in knackers, can I get my money back from Ebay or Paypal?

TheSaint.786, March 12, 2006; 10:32 PM

Paypal will be able to refund your money. It's a slightly long-ish process but
they're good in this regard - I recovered about £200 when I was scammed.

stephenlister, March 12, 2006; 11:10 PM

If used as the payment method, PayPal's protection is the best if complaint is filed within 45 days. One is most likely to get a full refund back if something goes wrong. eBay's buyer's protection is sketchy and once initiated takes a lifetime to receive a refund if ever. Take my word for it!

serifiot, March 13, 2006; 2:09 AM

id just hang fire before filing, give to end of week, assuming you are getting no replies from the seller of course?

anthonynputson, March 13, 2006; 12:39 PM

Thanks for the input guys (and gals, if there is any). I shall wait with baited breath!!!

According to PayPal, usapoliticalitems name is Alice Woijasiak. Email address: usapoliticalitems@gmail.com. How do I know this? Well, I too have been the victim of fraud. I'm still waiting for my copy of Until September/Starcrash. Somehow, I don't think it will be forthcoming, if you know what I mean. You might like to know that this person is currently being discussed at the FSM message boards. As for me, I have lodged a complaint with EBay and PayPal. Hopefully, I will get my money back. I would rather have the CD though.
Her rating is now up to 9 negative comments.

johnhjohnson, March 15, 2006; 6:44 PM

What procedures have you followed with Ebay and paypal, as I too may have got stiffed by this Alice geezer. Any help would be appreciated, maybe a collective response from ALL those stiffed may expedite refunds from either Ebay or Paypal.

TheSaint.786, March 15, 2006; 6:36 PM

Once you log in to PayPal, go the resolution tab, then click file a claim, type in the paypal transaction id for the cd you won. You should be able to find that by clicking the Get PayPal Transaction ID tab. You can then find out what the transaction no. is. click the Get Paypal Transaction ID tab again and click continue. From there it should be quite easy to complete. Failing that, you could always use the Livehelp which is located on EBay's home page, top righ hand side under the search box.

johnhjohnson, March 15, 2006; 7:07 PM

You might like to know that another copy of Lock Up is currently for sale on EBay. It's sealed too.

johnhjohnson, March 15, 2006; 7:12 PM

THIS PERSON IS CURRENTLY UNDER INVESTIGATION FOR FRAUD.HOPEFULLY A JAIL TERM IS NOT FAR AWAY.

doloresh, March 16, 2006; 11:46 PM

TheSaint.786, March 17, 2006; 8:15 AM

10.............!

anthonynputson, March 17, 2006; 10:19 PM

10.....Yes,I am predicting a lot more than that before this pathetic excuse for a human being is banned forever on ebay. But,then again what is to stop them starting up again under an alias. You can bet your cd collection ,that ALICE is NOT their real name.

doloresh, March 18, 2006; 12:20 AM

and most certainly does not come from Wonderland !!!

anthonynputson, March 18, 2006; 1:02 AM

13...christ ! has anyone heard back from their paypal disputes yet? saint?

anthonynputson, March 19, 2006; 1:47 PM

Paypal allows 3 to 10 days for the seller to answer and resolve the dispute. But you can bet your life she has flown the coop long ago.

doloresh, March 20, 2006; 12:22 AM

15...can you believe ,someone has left a positive.!!!!

doloresh, March 20, 2006; 12:15 PM

CHEAT! THIS PERSON IS A CHEAT! I won the bid for the ultra rare Power Of One soundtrack from Hans Zimmer. The total cost was $48. It's been 1 month and no cd or response to the numerous emails i sent. I filed a complaint with paypal, hopefully I'll get my money back. DO NOT BID ON THIS SELLER'S ITEMS.

ksavas87, March 31, 2006; 8:58 PM

I finally got full refund. Thank god for Paypal!.

peter-anselm, April 15, 2006; 11:38 PM

I'm glad to hear it, Peter. It's nice to know that the system still works in our favor once in awhile. ;-)
