Giant Robo OST

I am looking for Giant Robo OST vol. 5 (V) and 7 (VII). I know the CD's are out of production in Japan, and that the first two were published in the US. Anyone know where to find these soundtracks?

Don't know, but am looking for both volume 4 and 5 myself. Guess I'll hope more reprints come out in Japan or that more domestic versions are released... :)

Volume IV of Giant Robo OST is still available (see Ark Square). I'm also looking for the Volume V and VII... People from Ark Square told me that copies of these volumes are often seen on the Japan version of E-bay, but my japanese is too poor :o)
I really hope for a re-release, these Volumes contains some great cues (especially one I call "Father's theme").

I pasted up on 5 and 7 a few years ago. Wish I didn't. The track you are talking about I believe is called "A fathers soul" and its from the 5th soundtrack. Its an incredible theme.

I found vol. 4 (and 3) for anyone looking to purchase those. Never used the site so cannot comment on service.

The 5th soundtrack has always alluded me and I basically gave up on trying to find it. I asked my gf in Japan to keep an eye out for it just for shits and giggles, never expecting anything to come of it. Then last week my gf tells me she found it and wanted to know if I wanted it. Of course I wanted it but I also knew that the CD may be to out of my price range since it's a rare album. She told me that it had been re-released in Japan by a new company called QTL(?) and besides the original album it also included 7 tracks from one or more of the Ginrei specials. She purchased the album for me and will be sending it soon. When I get it I will post the record company name and order # so people who want the CD can find it.

Jubeiyagyu- Thanks for the update! I am still looking for Vol V myself. Screen Archives had hoped to order them but they only got the first three.

OK I finally got the Giant Robo OST Vol. 5 today so I'm extremely happy. I have all the info I can give you so that way you can find not only Vol. 5 but all of the Giant Robo music including the Ginrei Specials. On top of that this company is also re-releasing other soundtracks from Masamichi Amano that include Ninja Resurrection, Princess Nine, Urotsukidoji, Sin and Super Atragon. The name of the company is Quantum Leap Music. Their website address is www.phoenix-ent.co.jp
The website is in Japanese but I found an e-mail address on the site and e-mailed them if they can send me ordering info in English and if they will send packages outside of Japan. The order # for GR OST Vol. 5 is QLM-0003. Running a Google check the only thing that came up with that order # was that particular website. Hopefully all those that are interested can find a way to get those elusive reprints.

Thanks a lot for the information! I don't read Japanese either but will make every effort to get the missing title I seek. Thanks again!

thatsoliumdude - No problem. If you still can't find a way to get the album and just want the music, contact me using this handle at hotmail and I can arrange for you to download it using send space.

I'm trying to get ahold of volumes 3 and 5 of the Giant Robo OST—preferably downloadable as mp3s. I have 1, 2, 4, 6, and 7, as mp3s, if anyone would like to trade.

Can anyone help?

I have OST 3. I'm looking for 5 and 7. Where did you get your 7?
