American Werewolf in London
Was there ever an official release LP or CD of the actual music tracks from this movie ? (As opposed to the Casablanca Meco cover/new version).
Thanks.
Andrew

No, unfortunately only the Meco album exists.
However, a suite of Elmer Bernstein's original score was included on the DVD during the still gallery. It's an incredible suite and covers just about all of the music used in the film, (except for the music where David dreams about running through the woods and killing the elk.) We have John Landis to thank for including the suite, apparently he was a great admirer of Bernstein's work for this film. How could he not be!

Thanks for the tip, a great piece of music indeed, but don't expect to much of this, because it only takes 3.43 minutes.
And also contains a pretty anoying drop-out in the middle. I have the region 2 version by the way.
I think (after seeing the movie again!) there is still missing about 4 minutes of music.
