I have to admit I watch "American Idol" every week. (Twice a week, actually.) And enjoy it
simply for what it is. One constant annoyance for me on the show, however, is when they sing
some old ballad and introduce it as "an Ella Fitzgerald song" or "Billie Holiday's.." something. The
composer and lyricist should be credited first, especially with standards like that.

Hello, I Have to agree with TheSaint.786, It's hard for me to understand why anyone on this forum would watch this garbage. This show is pointless, mind numbing, and a waste of time. I wish those who are not into film music would go elsewhere for thier answer to questions of other interests.

Sometimes it feels like a soundtrack selling bazaar not a discussion forum for people who appreciate film music.
