Question

Piero Piccioni

I love the groovy, funky, bass heavy soundtracks of Piero Piccioni. I have in my collection
Camille 2000, Colpo Rovente, and Puppet on a Chain. Could anyone tell me other soundtracks
of his in this vein? Thanks!!!

For an extensive overview : "Splendido il Piccioni" vol 1, 2 & 3 (Avanz). I found them on eBay. Soundtracks : Scacco alla Regina (Avanz, wonderful) , I Giovani Tigri (Sixties sound, there are an Italian and a Japanese editions), Fumo di Londra (same, Japanese version has 2 cds ! Very mixed style, but some very groovy tracks, I love it). I have other Piccioni cds, always good, often great.
Have a nice week-end.

Check out scorebaby.com and moviegrooves.com as well as ilgiaguaro.com. Easy Tempo records in Italy really spearheaded his re-issues with their cinedelicious compilations. (They of course were responsible for the Camille 2000 LP). They also released other scores by him: "Il Dio Sotto La Pelle"(ET 931) and other hits on various compilation series. Cherry Red also released a CD comp, but they are of poor (usually rehash of Easy Tempo with shitty artwork and cheap mastering) quality and not recommended by me.
