Musical Score, 1930 Hell's Angels
I'm aware the Tchaikovsky's Symphonies no.5, 2nd mvts, 'Andante Cantabile' and no. 6 "Pathetique" were used in Howard Hughes' 1930 film "Hell's Angels." I enjoyed the movie, particulary the semi-color scene featuring the ball. It opens with a nice waltz being played by the house orchestra. I have failed to discover the name of this waltz. I have listened to excerpts from Tchaikovsky's Symphony no. 5 and no. 6. Can anyone help me here? What is the name of the waltz being played? I hope to find and purchase a copy for my personal enjoyment at home. Thanks for your assistance. John
