Indiana Jones: Edoya edition?

Is the Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade WPCR-515(http://soundtrackcollector.com/images/cd/large/Indiana_Jones_last_crusade_WPCR515.jpg) on this site the much raved about 1997 Edoya edition (promoted on Filmtracks.com) with better sound quality, I can’t find any information about it. I just won a Japan version on eBay and the dealer claimed it was the Edoya edition, but the only information I could find on the CD when I received it was the WPCR-515 code. Help please !!

The Japanese import edition that he is referring to is undoubtedly the Warner Japan release.

Never heard of it, and the filmtracks site doesn't even mention the word "Edoya," only an unnamed bootleg that was released in 1997. I think that perhaps the inclusion of the word "Edoya" is merely an error on Amazon's site. It should read "Warner Japan." If you enter the film's title and the word Edoya in Yahoo!, the only hits that come up are based on Amazon's erroneous entry.

Okay, but in the end of the Filmtracks.com review he notes that; A Japanese import album of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade featuring better sound quality than the original is available at Amazon.com. Is Clemmensen just guessing here? I have also seen Edoya CD´s on ebay from time to time.

Well maybe it just an error. Thanks for the help.

I have the Warner Japan edition, but didnt make any comparition with the USA release....

Usually, JAP CDs are considered better mastered and so, but I dont know this case for sure.

I played both releases (US and JAP) and I cant hear any difference.
