JERRY GOLDSMITH BIOGRAPHY
Quick question... I read this interesting expert in FSM from what seemed to be a biography on the works of J.G. by his daughter. Has anyone of u heard anything about such a thing? If so, has this been released and if not do u know when it will be?
Thanks... my soundtrack guiding lights!

I understand, because it's written in Carrie Goldsmith's first-person, but it's going to be difficult
reading a biography that continually mentions "Dad." I think she should have gone third-person
with it, or referred to him as Goldsmith, or Jerry, throughout.
With the Dad references, it makes her too much the star of the book.

interesting call !! and something i thought a bit at the time of reading .......but i also think it makes it a bit more up close and personal.

Me too... I like the fact that she refers to Goldsmith as dad. It gives the reading a relaxed, down to earth, more personal and emotional tone.
Besides, Jerry Goldsmith was her father after all and not some kind of stranger being interviewed.
