Favorite soundtrack moments
Hello, I have another question. Being new here I would of like to offer the question “What’s your favorite soundtrack?” but I guess that one’s hammered quite a bit, So I thought I’d put a different angle on it, and one which I thought would be more interesting. Indeed Listening to soundtracks for me is a wonderful experience and we all have our favorites but let’s not forget where they came from, the film. I would say that The Empire Strikes Back is my favorite soundtrack of all time, But whilst watching a movie I would say that probably the last Arial battle sequence from The battle Of Britain is my favorite soundtrack moment of all time and yet I don’t have the soundtrack in my collection. (Yet.) And this for me is quite ironic as I find the film The Battle Of Britain is ok but I wouldn’t put it In my favorite top ten list of films of all time. Do you see what I am getting at? We all have our top ten soundtracks but how does this register against our top ten soundtrack movie moments? I’ll leave this wide open. Of course as it’s down to personal preference and anything from Leroy Shield’s background music for the Laurel and Hardy films to ET’s fair well by Williams at the other end of the spectrum can be expected. For me though, I would love to compile all those soundtrack movie moments into one DVD as there are so many classic scores to consider.
