Uploading images of LP covers.
It must be two or three months ago now that I uploaded an image of the soundtrack LP cover of the 1959 David Ladd version of A Dog of Flanders, along with other additional info on soundtrack records for other films. None of it has yet appeared on this site. So what’s the point of submitting any images or info when they never appear?

It's an all voluntary website run by two persons, so the uploading time you mention is not seldom. I submitted information several months ago as well and it only came up now.

Thanks for the reply, Handstand. I was beginning to think that the uploads had been forgotten about, as, somewhere on this site, I read that they could take up to two weeks to appear. Maybe those running the site should revise that estimate to one of a few months.

In fact it's only one volunteer (me..!) who handles the incoming info, covers, news etc. and with so many members sending info I get far behind schedule.
Sorry for that, but we can't afford a large staff.

Okay, Ton. I understand the situation now. Apology and explanation accepted.

Yeah well, the page for American Idol sure isn't gathering dust from neglect.
I can't begin to describe how much I despise that horseshit especially considering the fact it supposedly represents American culture. Sure as hell doesn't represent any sort of culture I'm a part of.
Oh well, this is a pretty good internet site overall. I'd rate it 8 on a scale of 10. Better make that 7 on a 10 scale due to the American Idol horseshit being included in the database.
