well, bootlegs they can be.
I mean they also have a nice 2-disc edition from The Lost Boys.
Dagon isn't even in the database, never heard of that movie or soundtrack.
In that case I will order that one. ;)

Both of these releases are privately made CDR bootlegs. If you absolutely need the score, go ahead. If you want a proper release (which - to my knowledge- doesn't exist for either of the two) let it be. Artwork is color copied one-sided insert. CDRs have the movie title printed on.

At least, all other M.I.M. score CDRs I have came like this. See, I'm a geek for unreleased scores as well - up to you to decide what to do. In every case, M.I.M. have very friendly service and is a reliable store.

I've never had a problem with M.I.M - If you're concerned about a CD and want to know if its a bootleg or not just send them an email and they'll clarify things for you.

Question for anyone who's ever owned a bootleg--Is the sound quality as good as a normal release? Even if the case looks cheap I guess it all comes down to how good the score itself sounds...

I, too, would like to know about the quality on Dagon... it's a tremendous score that I've been after for aaaages...

..if there's a copy of the Beyond Re-Animator score on there, I might just cream my jeans...
