It is an instrumental track, however I am pretty sure it was not made specifically for this film. I remember hearing it before this film was made.

I *think* it is from the band Yello isn't it? ("che-che ... ch-ch-kaaaa! bom-bom.. che-che (etc.!)") - is that the one?

ps - according to the mighty IMDB page, a Yello track IS featured in the movie, but has a different name from my tip-offs:
