Il Buono, Il Brutto, Il Cattivo
There are two versions of the above soundtrack that GDM had released: GDM CD Club 7001 and GDM/Edel Italia 0156982. Does anyone know the difference between these two cds? I am more interested in the comparison of sound quality, track length and the difference in the quality of the remastering work. I hope someone who owns both cds can help me out. Thanks.

Ooops, I was just writing a long comment on the differences between the US Capitol CD and the GDM CD, but now I notice you only want to know the differences between both GDM releases.
As far as I know, the GDM/Edel Italia 0156982 is just a straight re-issue of the GDM CD Club 7001. The length of the tracks seem to be identical:

http://www.gdmmusic.com/index.php?f=scheda&s=txt&id=161 (GDM/Edel Italia)
UrsP.S.: And by the way, you could have found this information by a simple search in THIS database as well:

The most important difference is perhaps that the 7001 release comes in a jewel case while 0156982 is a digipack.
That's why I'm happy with my 7001.

I just asked that same question several weeks ago (what's the difference between these two editions), and this is the answer I received from GDM:
"There isn't any difference, except for the packaging. The collector's
edition has a booklet inside. The special edition is in digipack without
booklet."
So it looks like the Club edition is the way to go, although I really like the cover of the Edel edition. :)
