Question

Lisabon CD shops

The same question as few times in the past already, but this time I'd like to ask if there's any CD shop worth visiting in Lisboa.

Thanks

Hey, Dorian,

Unfortunetely, shopping centers and FNAC (the french network of cultural shops world wide) ruined the small (but very interesting) business of imported CD shops in Lisbon. Nowadays you can find here what you can find in any other FNAC out of France. Concerning soundtracks... You better forget and look elsewhere.... and give yourself a break taking advantage of the beautiful town, food, sunshine and beaches.

Take care,

João Carlos

As been said do not expect much...

You'll have the FNAC stores:
Armazéns do Chiado - Rua do Carmo, nº 2
C. Colombo - Avª Lusíada - Centro Colombo

In case you are looking for second hand bargains you might wanna check:
Feira da Ladra - Campo de Santa Clara (which is a flea market that happens on saturdays and tuesdays);
Mau Génio - Estrada de Benfica, 731A Shopping Center Nevada, Loja 31 (www.maugenio.com);
Carbono - Rua do Telhal, nº6 B (http://www.underportugal.com/carbono)

Hope you enjoy Lisbon, Dorian.

Thanks for your responses João and Antonio ! Actually it wasn't me but my father who went there for a week. He purchased several CDs for himself as well as "Indochine" and Morricone's "Richard III" for me, thanks to your tips.
Thanks again !
