Question

ENTER THE DRAGON ?

HEY GUYS,

I HAVE "ENTER THE DRAGON" FROM THE DVD COLLECTORS SET.

THE DISC LOOKS GOLD JUST LIKE THE EXORCIST DISC THAT CAME FROM THE DVD COLLECTOR SET.
CAN ANYONE TELL ME IF THIS IS 24 KT GOLD?
ANY INFORMATION ON THIS SUBJECT WOULD BE GREAT.

MARK

Hi Mark,

do you intend to scratch it off and make a deal? ;-)

To my knowledge, ONLY 24 kt gold - which means the optimal millesimal fineness of
999/1000 - was used for CD coating. Unfortunately, the CD doesn't state anything on the
material but I didn't find any hint that CDs were coated with gold of a lesser quality.

Enjoy it anyway,

David

Thanks COMA,

My question. how come the EXORCIST on warner home video (16177-00-cd) states that it is a 24 kt. gold pressed cd? and why would Warner not issue one for the Enter the dragon
re- mastered version?
below is the listing of the description for the exorcist from this site.

Though the label # is identical to the standard Warner Bros. Records release, this is a rare, Limited Edition 24K Gold-Pressed version, available only via THE EXORCIST Limited Edition DVD Collector's boxed set from Warner Home Video.

The E.T.D. copy I have is gold. this leads me to the conclusion that is is the same as the exorcist.

thanks for your response. I'll try and calm down.
