Question

Track from MADAGASCAR but not on SOUNDTRACK RECORDING

I am after the full version of the track that is heard durning the film Madagascar, around the 52 minute mark of the film. When Alex (the lion) is on the beach dreaming of Steaks!!.
I have been trying to track this down for 12 months now to no avail.
Any suggestions greatly appreciated

Answers

I think you mean the reference to the rosebud-scene music by Thomas
Newman from "American Beauty". The use of the Marimba is very
characteristic.
