Here are 2 sites I found somewhat helpful, though I think we're all screwed for a while until they release it:

http://www.theunit-hq.net/news-and-updates/the-unit-theme-song.html
http://www.post-gazette.com/pg/06146/693214-238.stm

That second site has a Q&A about "The Unit" with some information in the answer.

Robert Duncan did the main song that is a cadence from the military. I was able to find Robert Duncan on Myspace with an extended remix of that song. No download available for it but you can add it to your profile if you have one. Here is Robert Duncan's link: http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&;friendID=31994448

Hello to you all, I just logged in this once to tell you that if you download iTunes to your Windows/Mac computers you can buy this online directly from the iTunes music store as I just bought it today!
You will of course need to have an iTunes account to set up before you can do this, when in iTunes search for The Unit and it should come up with the correct score from Robert Duncan.
Hope this helps and enjoy!

Hi all, Robert Duncan made a remix of the song Fired up... Feels good from the album Run To Cadence With The U.s. Army Marines, Vol.2.

Duncan's song can be found on http://www.myspace.com/robertduncan

So based on that song, the lyrics of the theme of the Unit (extended version see Duncan's myspace) are:

Fired up, Fired up.
Fired up, Fired up.
27th, 27th.
Fired up, Fired up.
Here we go, Here we go.
On the Road, On the Road.
27th, 27th.
Fired up, Fired up.

Fired up, Fired up.

Fired up, Fired up.
27th, 27th.
Fired up, Fired up.
Here we go, Here we go.
On the Road, On the Road.
27th, 27th.
Fired up, Fired up.

Fired up, Fired up.

Uuuh-Uuuh, Uuuh-Uuuh.
Feels Good, Feels Good.
A-lo righta lay-eft, A-lo righta lay-eft.
A-Lefty righta lay-eft, A-Lefty righta

Feels good, Feels good.
Sounds good, Sounds good.

Uuuh-Uuuh, Uuuh-Uuuh.
Feels Good, Feels Good.
Hey bobba reeba, Hey bobba reeba.
Hey bobba reeba, Hey bobba reeba.
A-lo righta lay-eft, A-lo righta lay-eft.

Fired up, Fired up.
Fired up, Fired up.
27th, 27th.
Fired up, Fired up.
Here we go, Here we go.
On the Road, On the Road.

Fired up...

Another thing, note than in the original song (not the one you can here on Run To Cadence With The U.s. Army Marines, Vol.2) instead of:

Fired up, Fired up
27

it is:
Fired up, Fired up
plenty sun

The 27 is most likely the Company they belong to, and they adapted the song to their Company
