Why The Lack Of Interest In Spellbound

I was quite amazed by the fact that until I just reviewed Spellbound on my new website www.goldenscores.com there had been (0) done before me. How can an Oscar winning soundtrack have so little interest? Is it just too old? What I reviewed was likely the best we'll ever see as there is probably little left of the OST.

I have the score and it looks like the image you show(on lp,though).I think its a great score. If i'm not mistaken I seem to remmber Goldsmith saying hearing it made him go into film music.

...quite true Damjamcar.

It was this Miklos Rozsa score indeed according to Jerry Goldsmith which inspired him at quite an early period in his life to become a composer for film music.

Lucky us!...

Not to mention the fact Goldsmith studied under Rozsa at UCLA.
